Key Responsibilities
- 📚 Teach, research, and participate in strategic planning and management of teaching and learning activities.
- 🌱 Lead and/or participate in curriculum development and faculty enhancement initiatives within the department, faculty, and wider university.
- 🤝 Contribute to university life through teaching, research, and community outreach efforts.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- 🎓 Minimum of a Ph.D. in Spanish with a specialization in Translational Studies (Spanish/English).
- 🗣️ Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.
- 📝 Excellent command of English.
- 📖 Demonstrated scholarly research and publications in Translational Studies, Spanish Language, and Culture.
- ⏳ At least five (5) years of tertiary-level teaching experience in related areas.
Preferred Qualifications for a Distinct Advantage
- 🇫🇷 Knowledge of the French language.
- 🎓 Experience supervising MPhil/PhD students.
- 💰 Evidence of successful grant acquisition.
- 📚 Experience in curriculum development for both face-to-face and remote delivery modes.
- 🏛️ Administrative experience within an academic institution.
- 🎓 Certificate in University Teaching.
- 🌟 Evidence of contributions to the Public Service or field of study.
