The Learning & Organizational Development Specialist reports to the Director, L&OD based in Los Angeles and plays a vital role in designing impactful learning programs in both English and Spanish. This role involves supporting enterprise-wide initiatives, managing team operations, and contributing to our mission of health and community building.
This position is based at our West Los Angeles, CA office, with a hybrid work schedule: in-office from Monday to Wednesday, and remote options available on Thursday and Friday.
🌟 Job Responsibilities
- Design & Facilitate Learning Programs: Lead the development and delivery of in-person workshops and webinars in English and Spanish, ensuring engaging and high-quality training experiences.
- Create Training Materials: Develop customized content to meet diverse audience needs, supporting employee and leadership development.
- Conduct Participative Sessions: Facilitate interactive sessions for both in-person and virtual audiences, leveraging feedback to improve learning effectiveness.
- Measure Program Success: Analyze survey results and feedback to assess training impact and recommend enhancements.
- Develop Custom Interventions: Determine appropriate learning solutions for specific business units and organizational needs.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner across departments to promote employee performance, leadership growth, and organizational goals.
- Manage Projects & Logistics: Oversee program planning, coordinate events, communicate with stakeholders, and evaluate outcomes.
- Support Administrative Functions: Assist the Vice President with calendar management, travel, and departmental operations, including team meetings and supplies.
💰 Salary & Benefits
Pay rate ranges from $75,000 to $82,500, potentially including a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will depend on your skills and experience.

🌱 Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in learning, organizational development, talent development, or training.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in business, organizational change, or related fields.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to facilitate content delivery in both languages.
- Key Traits: Organized, proactive, energetic, resourceful, and adaptable with excellent attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Effective in engaging stakeholders at all levels, maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Work Ethic: Capable of working collaboratively across teams and independently in a dynamic environment.
