Exciting Job Opportunity for Language Specialists in Portugal! 🌍

This role offers the flexibility of remote work across Portugal and is perfect for those with a passion for languages, cultural expertise, and content localization.

About the Position

As a language specialist, you will leverage your linguistic skills to ensure the company's multilingual content is flawless before publication. Your tasks include translating, localizing, copy-editing, post-editing, rewriting, and transcreating various texts using tools such as memoQ and machine translation. Additionally, you will conduct quality assurance and review advertising materials, while also applying your copywriting skills to craft engaging blog articles.

Key Responsibilities

• Translations & Localizations: Mainly from English into the target language and culture (if different from English)
• Proofreading & Editing: Copy editing, MTPE, revising texts, sentences, or modules in the target language
• Copywriting: Creating content when assigned
• Quality Assurance: Conducting linguistic quality assessments (LQA)
• Rewrites & Transcreation: Adapting online advertising materials
• Proofreading & Checks: Preparing error logs and suggesting corrections

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in translation, copy editing, MTPE, proofreading, localization, transcreation, or language services
• Language Skills: English at least C1 + French at C2 level
• Excellent written communication skills in your main target language
• Strong spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, meticulous work ethic, prioritization skills, attention to detail, research skills, and a high motivation to learn
• Successful completion of a recruitment test (sample translation)
