Job Description

Moravia is seeking Italian native speakers for an onsite Language Lead role at our Moravia IT offices in Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for top performers in translation and editorial fields to contribute to our dynamic team.

Initial placement duration: Three months

Work type: Part-time

Location: Hybrid (from-home + onsite once a week in Seattle)

Desired Skills and Experience

Specific Responsibilities:

• Drive linguistic quality across projects
• Edit and translate directly within localization tools
• Create and maintain glossaries, style guides, and translation memories
• Collaborate with localization project managers, vendors, and QA engineers to resolve linguistic, terminology, and style issues
• Plan and execute linguistic quality assurance tasks

Basic Qualifications:

• Native level fluency in Italian
• ≥ 3 years of proven English to Italian localization and editing experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Italian
• Technical proficiency with localization platforms and terminology tools
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
• Ability to understand complex applications and systems
• Flexible and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multitasking, managing ambiguity, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
• Degree in linguistics, translation, technical communications, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Quality Assurance processes
• Programming knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with the client's products and services
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle
