Join our dynamic team as an Interpreter (English & Mandarin) and play a crucial role in bridging language barriers. This full-time night position offers flexible remote work opportunities aligned with US Pacific Time Zone hours.

Position Overview

As an interpreter, your main responsibility will be to facilitate clear communication between parties speaking different languages. For example, during a live 911 call, you will accurately interpret conversations between the caller (Tamil) and the emergency operator (English), ensuring both parties understand each other effectively. Your role is vital in conveying messages seamlessly in the caller's preferred language.

Work Details

• Position: Full-Time Night Job (US Pacific Time Zone)
• Work Schedule: 5 days a week
• Work Environment: Work From Home (WFH)

Compensation & Benefits

• Basic Salary: RM4,800 - RM5,200 per month + OT pay
• Leave Entitlements:
  • 14 days paid sick leave
  • 12 days annual leave
  • Some Malaysia & US public holidays

Training Program Details

Training Duration & Schedule

The training program spans 3 weeks.

• Daily Schedule: 8 hours per day (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Malaysia time), including a 1-hour break

Training Allowance & Expenses

• Training Allowance: RM 2,650 + RM 400 (security deposit for gadgets)
• Total Training Hours: 105 hours, comprising live sessions, assessments, tutorials, and modules
• Live Sessions: 9 sessions, each divided into 2 parts, totaling 18 hours
• Special Days: Days 13, 14, and 15 are dedicated to live phone calls, known as the nesting period

Training Completion & Allowance Disbursement

The training allowance will be paid only upon successful completion of the entire 3-week program.
