Job Details

• Position: Interpreter (English & Mandarin)
• Type: Full-time, Night Shift (US Pacific Time Zone)
• Work Schedule: 5 days a week, Work From Home (WFH)

Role & Responsibilities

As an interpreter, your main task is to facilitate clear communication between parties speaking different languages. For example, during a live 911 call, you would:

• Accurately interpret conversations between the caller (Tamil) and the emergency operator (English)
• Convey messages in the caller’s preferred language
• Ensure mutual understanding between both parties

Compensation & Benefits 💰

• Basic Salary: RM4,800 - RM5,200 per month + overtime pay
• Sick Leave: 14 days paid sick leave
• Annual Leave: 12 days
• Public Holidays: Malaysia & US recognized holidays

Training Program Details 📚

The comprehensive training prepares you for the role and includes:

• Duration: 3 weeks, Monday to Friday
• Daily Schedule: 8 hours each day, from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM Malaysia time, including a 1-hour break
• Training Allowance: RM 2,650 + RM 400 (security deposit for gadgets)
• Live Sessions: 9 sessions divided into 2 parts each, totaling 18 hours
• Total Training Hours: 105 hours, including assessments, tutorials, and modules
• Nesting Days (13/14/15): Focused on live phone calls to simulate real scenarios
• Allowance Payment: Provided only upon successful completion of the full 3-week training
