Join Our Team as a Hebrew Linguist & Localization Specialist 📝🌐
We are seeking a skilled Hebrew Linguist and Localization Specialist to enhance the localization of multiple Agoda products. Become part of our vibrant international team in a beautiful central Bangkok location and thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced environment!
Responsibilities 🎯
- Maintain high quality in product translation and localization
- Translate English content including site updates, hotel descriptions, press releases, travel articles, promotional emails, and newsletters
- Recruit, manage, and supervise freelance translators
- Ensure timely delivery and quality standards of freelance translations
- Provide localization insights and linguistic perspectives during development
- Conduct product reviews to identify inconsistencies and localization issues
- Analyze language-specific data to support machine translation improvements
- Assist marketing efforts to increase Agoda’s visibility and website traffic in target markets
- Research and establish local partnership opportunities
- Support interdepartmental requests as needed
Requirements ✅
- Native Hebrew speaker with excellent writing skills
- University or college degree
- Translation experience, preferably with CAT tools
- Proficiency in English and strong internet research skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in the travel industry is a plus
