About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal who is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about immigration law. The ideal candidate can independently manage cases with minimal supervision and is eager to contribute to a mission-driven practice.

Practice Areas

Our firm specializes in:

  • Employment-based nonimmigrant visas: E-2, H-1B, O-1, J-1, TN, L-1
  • Immigrant visa cases: EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-3 (PERM-based), EB-2 NIW, EB-5
  • Family-based immigration matters
  • N-400 naturalization applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare & complete immigration petition forms with precision.
  • File Department of Labor documents: ETA 9035, ETA 9141, ETA 9089.
  • Draft legal correspondence including cover letters, RFEs, NOIDs, and support letters.
  • Assemble organized exhibit packets with proper tabs, indexes, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain regular communication with corporate and individual clients regarding case updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Korean-speaking clients.
  • Review translated documents for accuracy and provide feedback to translation vendors.
  • Assist with tracking deadlines and managing filing logistics for timely submissions.
  • Organize and maintain digital case files and support case status tracking.
  • Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, court decisions, and USCIS policies.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and support attorneys in case preparation.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Korean and English (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in employment-based immigration, including E-2, H-1B, L-1A, O-1, EB-1A, EB-1C, NIW, PERM.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Flexible hybrid work schedule to support personal and family needs.

Compensation & Work Details

💰 Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
🕒 Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
🏢 Work Location: Hybrid remote in Irvine, CA 92618
