About the Role

We are seeking a Korean and English Speaking Caretaker (25+) to deliver personalized support, ensure safety, and promote well-being in a residential setting. This part-time position involves working 3-5 days a week, approximately 4 hours per day, offering flexibility and meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Effective Communication: Converse with residents in Korean to understand their needs and provide appropriate support.
• Daily Assistance: Support with mobility, personal hygiene, and medication reminders to uphold comfort and dignity.
• Safety Monitoring: Conduct regular safety checks and respond promptly to emergencies or family concerns.
• Light Housekeeping: Perform basic cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Documentation: Record care activities accurately and regularly.
• Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing meals, with knowledge of traditional Korean cuisine a plus.
• Transportation: Assist with getting to and from work and appointments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or related roles in residential settings (certification not required).
• Knowledge of traditional Korean cooking is a valuable plus.
• Ability to effectively oversee and attend to clients’ needs.
• Excellent communication skills in Korean and English with a compassionate approach to client interaction.
