Key Responsibilities 🚀

  • Instruction Delivery: Conduct 3–5 hours of daily lessons aligned with ILR levels 0–3.
  • Proficiency Testing: Complete training to become a certified language tester, conducting 3–4 assessments weekly.
  • Culture and Language: Teach language speaking skills and cultural understanding through communication.
  • Material Development: Create tailored class materials and training aids to meet student needs.
  • Program Support: Collaborate under the guidance of senior instructors, with ongoing sponsor training for certification standards.
  • Stay Informed: Keep current with relevant events in the target language's country.

Qualifications & Requirements ✅

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's in education, foreign language, or linguistics with 10–12 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2–10 years. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
  • Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct foreign language instruction.
  • Language & Location: Degree obtained in the U.S. or a native-speaking country.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and internet research.
  • Communication: Excellent bilingual communication and presentation skills in English and Korean.

Language Proficiency & Security Clearance 🔐

  • Language Testing: Pass a Leidos-approved translation test with a score of 4+ and achieve ILR 5/5/5 across speaking, listening, and reading.
  • Clearance: Willing to sponsor TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; must be fully adjudicated before starting work. Candidates must already hold or be able to obtain clearance.

Preferred Qualifications 🌐

  • Experience within the U.S. Intelligence Community, military, or law enforcement sectors.
  • Multilingual proficiency, ideally in multiple languages.
  • Exposure to cryptologic or national security environments.
