Overview

As a member of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you will play a vital role in bridging language barriers for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community. Your work will span medical, legal, and customer service environments. We are always welcoming qualified interpreters for diverse assignments!

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service 🤝
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism 🔐
• Follow all policies, procedures, and interpretation protocols, including industry best practices 📋
• Complete training and actively participate in ongoing quality assurance activities 📈

Qualifications & Experience

• Full fluency in both English and Korean 🗣️
• Knowledge of industry standards such as professionalism, courtesy, protocol, and confidentiality ⚖️
• Strong client service skills to ensure high-quality interactions 💼
• Reliable transportation—personal or public 🚗🚆
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred 📅
• Industry certifications or training such as CMI, CCHI preferred (optional) 🎓
