Candidate Qualifications

• Fluency in: English and Korean
• Preferred: Minimum 1-year interpretation experience
• Skills: Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to ensure high accuracy
• Protocol: Ability to render correct concepts and meanings following established interpretation standards, avoiding omissions or additions
• Cultural Knowledge: Capacity to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with client permission or upon request

Technical Requirements

• English proficiency: 90%
• Internet: Steady wired internet connection
• Equipment: USB wired headset
• Operating System: Windows 10 or Mac

Your Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, adhering to the interpreter’s code of conduct
• Familiarize yourself with industry-specific vocabulary, especially in healthcare and medical fields
• Participate in internal professional training sessions
• Communicate and report effectively to your team leader
• Additional Consideration: Depending on your location, language testing and background checks may be required
