Role Overview

This is a remote, contractor position focused on evaluating and improving AI-generated responses in Korean and English. You'll analyze step-by-step reasoning, provide expert feedback, and ensure outputs are clear, logical, and aligned with safety policies. Your work directly impacts the reliability and safety of large-scale AI models used worldwide. Please note, this role may involve exposure to sensitive or disturbing content as part of structured AI safety evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI responses for accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, and safety compliance.
  • Identify errors in model outputs, including logical, methodological, or conceptual issues.
  • Compare and rate multiple AI responses based on correctness, safety, and policy adherence.
  • Perform fact-checking and validation when necessary.
  • Conduct red-teaming and adversarial testing to uncover vulnerabilities, edge cases, and unsafe behaviors.
  • Document findings with clear reasoning and reproducible decision paths.
  • Apply safety policies consistently across Korean and English content, including slang, cultural nuances, and coded language.
  • Escalate ambiguous cases using established safety frameworks and guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Communications, Psychology, Law, Policy, Security Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean (reading and writing).
  • Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading and writing).
  • Experience in Trust Safety, content moderation, policy enforcement, risk operations, compliance, or investigations (senior level).
  • Proven experience in LLM red-teaming or adversarial testing. Required.
  • Strong ability to preserve meaning, intent, and severity across languages.
  • Excellent analytical writing and structured reasoning skills.
  • High attention to detail and consistency in applying safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote contractor environment.
  • Experience handling sensitive content with professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI data annotation, model evaluation, or localization/translation.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar systems.
  • Experience working with structured safety taxonomies or policy classification systems.
  • Background in editorial QA, investigative, or analytical roles.
