Description

Leidos invites qualified candidates to join our team as a Korean Cryptologic Language Instructor. The role involves providing comprehensive language training, translating, and curriculum development primarily for military personnel. Collaborate with the unit's Language Program Manager to enhance training materials and methodologies. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 📋

• Deliver Training: Provide global and cryptologic language, cultural training to military and civilian personnel using classroom instruction, written materials, technology, and distance learning.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and integrate new language training content, curricula, and courseware for approval by U.S. Government authorities.
• Instructional Adaptation: Modify teaching methods based on student proficiency, learning styles, and time constraints.
• Consultation & Assessment: Advise commanders and military representatives on student needs, assessments, and training strategies.
• Student Tracking: Monitor student progress and report on training effectiveness to management.
• Database Support: Assist as the unit's alternate Command Language Program Manager, accessing and managing relevant databases in coordination with government personnel.

Qualifications ✅

• Security Clearance: TS/SCI active on Day 1
• Language Proficiency: ILRT level 3+ in Korean and advanced proficiency in English (ILRT level 2+ based on DLPT 4)
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Korean language, Applied Linguistics, or Language Teaching preferred (experience may substitute degree)
• Experience: Minimum 4 years relevant experience, including 3+ years in translation and language services, and 1+ year in language instruction. Military cryptologic instructor experience is a plus.
