Korean Bilingual Network Engineer

Join our team as a skilled Network Engineer fluent in Korean and English, responsible for designing, managing, and securing enterprise network infrastructures in a dynamic, high-demand environment. 🚀

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect Enterprise Networks: Lead the planning and implementation of scalable, secure network infrastructures using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, tailored to support high-demand environments.
• Manage Advanced Routing & Switching Protocols: Configure and optimize complex routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and EVPN to ensure efficient traffic flow and high availability across global sites.
• Implement and Maintain F5 Load Balancing Solutions: Deploy and manage F5 appliances, including custom iRules scripting, to enhance application resilience, performance, and traffic management.
• Troubleshoot Critical Network Issues: Serve as the escalation point for diagnosing and resolving L2/L3 connectivity problems, hardware failures, and VPN-related disruptions across enterprise systems.
• Secure Network Infrastructure: Enforce security practices using IPSec, 802.1x, TACACS+, and firewalls, maintaining compliance with internal and external standards.
• Support Multicast and Manufacturing Protocols: Configure multicast technologies like PIM, MSDP, and Anycast-RP to support real-time data delivery in manufacturing environments.
• Lead Network Upgrades and Migrations: Drive hardware/software refreshes, expansions, and migration projects with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate Across Teams and Vendors: Work with cross-functional teams, ISPs, and hardware vendors to coordinate maintenance, resolve escalations, and manage RMA processes.
• Document and Standardize Network Operations: Maintain detailed diagrams, configuration records, and SOPs to support audits and troubleshooting.
• Mentor and Develop Team Talent: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and operational excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise network operations, focusing on Cisco devices (Catalyst, Nexus), Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
• CCNP Enterprise or CCIE certification (current or expired within the last 3 years).
• Extensive experience with routing protocols and network technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues, including hardware, L3/L2 problems, application connectivity, and P2P VPNs.
• Experience with multicast protocols such as PIM, MSDP, Anycast-RP in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Network Monitoring Tools.
• Strong customer focus, ownership mentality, and passion for documentation and mentoring.
• Residence within 1 hour of Taylor, TX, with ability to commute 5 days a week.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English. 🌐

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting networks in large manufacturing settings, especially within 24/7 operations.
• Expertise in high availability network configurations.
• Strong background in server network connectivity (Teaming, VPC, LACP).
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancing, including iRules, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Familiarity with Packet Capture Analysis, SSL certificates.
• Certifications in F5 Load Balancers or Palo Alto Firewalls, with ≥5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, scripting in Python, Ansible, or automation tools is a plus. 🤖
