About the Role

As a vital member of our kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:

• Yakitori Preparation 🍢: Skillfully preparing and skewering a variety of yakitori ingredients, mastering grilling techniques to ensure perfect texture and flavor for each skewer.
• Culinary Expertise 🍽️: Preparing and cooking a diverse range of Japanese dishes while maintaining the highest standards of authenticity and taste.
• Food Preparation 🥒: Assisting with all aspects of food prep, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Kitchen Maintenance 🧼: Keeping workstations and the entire kitchen clean and organized, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Team Collaboration 🤝: Working effectively with fellow team members to ensure timely and efficient service, especially during peak hours.
• Inventory and Stock 📦: Assisting with inventory management and ensuring proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting.
• Specialized experience in yakitori preparation, including skewering and grilling techniques (training provided).
• A solid understanding of various Japanese dishes and cooking methods.
• Strong knife skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, professional attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
