Job Description
As the Sales Director - Furnace Aftermarket, you will be a vital part of our Aftermarket Service Division. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Managing both inside and outside sales activities involving spare parts, rebuilds, retrofits, and field services.
- Serving industrial furnace owners in the carbon and non-ferrous industries.
- Achieving the company's growth goals within the designated product group.
- Collaborating with the VP of Sales and Marketing, as well as the Inside Sales Manager, to negotiate prices, track inquiries, and oversee after-sales service, including product and service claim resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual sales plan aligned with the company's budget.
- Maintain and expand existing top-line sales with key accounts.
- Engage in direct selling by collaborating with decision-makers within client organizations.
- Create new business opportunities using consultative selling techniques.
- Differentiate our product portfolio by emphasizing its focus on advanced technologies and application engineering.
- Drive top-line growth and expand market share.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in an industrial environment.
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Prior experience with industrial furnaces, combustion, or related industries—metals industry experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in SAP is preferred.
