Our client seeks a highly motivated individual with strong business acumen and analytical skills to join their expanding Strategy Consulting Team in the U.S. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with top management from multiple industries, providing data-driven strategic recommendations primarily related to cross-border transactions between Japan and North America.

📝 Responsibilities & Job Description

The Strategy Unit oversees a variety of client projects related to strategic consulting, including:

• Market research, market entry, and business development consulting 📊
• Strategic planning and business support through Due Diligence, joint ventures, and partnerships 🤝
• Turnaround & Restructuring and Corporate Governance consulting 🔄

Key Responsibilities of an Associate

• Lead project execution, focusing on:
• Conducting market, competitive, and regulatory research using primary and secondary sources
• Delivering reports mainly via Microsoft PowerPoint
• PRESENTING compelling business cases and strategic recommendations to clients 🎯
• Performing additional tasks required for project success and client communication

🎓 Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in consulting or market research preferred
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Residency in the US (including 3-year OPTs considered) 🇺🇸
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese (N1 or above) required
• Business mindset with critical thinking skills to craft logical solutions across various industries 💡
• Academic background in business fields such as accounting, finance, or marketing is advantageous 🎓
• Professional attitude with a sense of ownership and eagerness to learn beyond comfort zones 🚀
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
