Position: Full-time Junior Sales Representative (Bilingual in Chinese or Korean / English)

This role is perfect for motivated individuals who have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and a keen appreciation for Asian food culture. Your key responsibilities will include building client relationships, driving sales growth, and identifying new market opportunities across the region.

Key Responsibilities

👥 Client & Account Management

• Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective accounts
• Serve as the primary liaison for Chinese or Korean-speaking clients, communicating in Japanese and English
• Handle inquiries, orders, and contract negotiations with professionalism and cultural sensitivity

📈 Sales & Strategy

• Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow product offerings and market share
• Present new products and conduct regular sales performance reviews with stakeholders

🔄 Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and product availability
• Provide customer insights and feedback to product development and quality assurance teams

🔍 Market Intelligence

• Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within regional communities

🤝 Customer Satisfaction

• Address customer issues promptly and professionally
• Escalate concerns when necessary to maintain high satisfaction levels

📊 Reporting & Communication

• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and performance reports
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related fields (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in account management, sales, or customer service (food distribution experience preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Japanese food products and culture
• Fluency in Japanese and English (verbal and written)
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%, including overnight trips)
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Physical & Work Environment

While performing duties, candidates may need to sit, stand, walk, and lift between 10-25 pounds as needed. Visual and auditory acuity including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision are essential.
