Position Details

• Position: Limudei Kodesh Teacher (Elementary School)
• Type: Part-Time (~20 hours/week)
• Location: Brookline, MA

Responsibilities 🌟

• Plan, develop, and assess engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with our Judaic Studies curriculum
• Create an environment that fosters participation, recognition of individual needs, and flexibility
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of educators and administrators to advance the school's mission
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Implement positive discipline strategies
• Observe and document students' progress and developmental milestones
• Teach Hebrew language skills, emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Supervise recess, lunch, and bus duty as needed

Qualifications 📋

• Minimum of two years' elementary or middle school teaching experience
• Passion for elementary education and Judaic studies
• Strong commitment to teamwork and student development
• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience teaching Hebrew language is a plus
