Position: Jr. Accountant (Bilingual in Korean)

Our client is a world leader in 3D measurement and inspection technology, specializing in solutions used in the production of micro-electronics assemblies.
Job Summary
The Jr. Accountant will assist in preparing monthly financial reports. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, highly organized, and capable of working independently or collaboratively. Despite its broad scope, the position offers a great work-life balance, steady hours, and flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Sales Recognition and Purchase Recognition
- Manage Accounts Receivable functions, including prompt payment application, collections support, and invoicing
- Handle Accounts Payable processes, such as reviewing, verifying invoices, and reconciling transactions
- Manage Sales Commissions for Representatives and Distributors
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain assets management and analyze Inventory/COGS
- Support full-cycle month-end and quarter-end close, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, ledger adjustments, and reporting
- Assist with Sales and Use Tax filings
- Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, conducting research, and creating reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Deep understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- ERP software experience highly desired; QuickBooks experience preferred
- Strong work ethic with flexibility to meet deadlines under departmental pressures
- Experience working with Korean-based companies is a plus
- Bilingual in Korean and English is highly desired
