Job Overview

Responsibilities include interpreting between Japanese expatriates and local staff, translating documents, and supporting onsite meetings, telephone calls, and web conferences.

Position Details

  • Pay: $37.31 per hour 💰
  • Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM 🕗
  • Location: Sparks, NV (with potential remote work contingent on travel willingness) 🌎

Responsibilities

  • Interpret between Japanese expatriates and local staff 🗣️
  • Provide interpretation during onsite meetings, telephone calls, and web conferences 📞💻
  • Translate technical and non-technical documents, including policies, instructions, and manuals 📄
  • Compose and translate emails, reports, and other correspondence ✉️
  • Translate both Japanese to English and English to Japanese seamlessly 🔄
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management ⚙️

Education & Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED 🎓

Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) required 📝🗣️
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Access 💻
  • Strong communication skills 🗨️
  • Experience translating in a manufacturing industry is a plus 🔧
