Welo Data is seeking confident, native-level Japanese speakers for an engaging studio recording opportunity. No experience needed—just your clear voice and willingness to collaborate!

About the Role

This is a non-acting role focused on natural, confident speech. You'll record in a professional studio environment, reading scripts out loud in your native language with ease and clarity.

What You Will Do

• Speak clearly and confidently in your dialect during studio sessions.
• Improvise as needed to make recordings sound natural and seamless.
• Follow recording instructions provided by the studio team.
• No memorization or performance background required.

Project Details

• Start Date: March 2026
• Duration: 3 weeks, with potential extension
• Commitment: 4 hours daily, up to 2 days in the studio each week
• Opportunity Type: Freelance / Independent Contract
• Location: Seattle (on-site at a recording studio)
• Language: Japanese
• Pay Rate: $55/hour 💰

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Japanese
• Comfortable speaking publicly in a professional studio environment
• Ability to hold 2–5 minute conversations with natural, clear speech
• Dependable and able to attend in-person studio sessions
• Experience in teaching, public speaking, customer service, or similar roles is a bonus but not mandatory
