🌟 Job Opportunity: Japanese Languages Tutor (Spring 2026 & Summer 2026)

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Provide at least five hours of tutoring per week in Japanese, supporting students' language proficiency and confidence.
• Attend Tutor Meetings and Training Sessions to ensure best practices and continuous development.
• Maintain communication with the Tutoring Coordinator and Assistant Director of Administration for smooth operations.
• Assist in departmental cultural activities to promote Japanese language and culture.
• Participate in weekly conversation sessions to foster an engaging language learning environment.

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Advanced or near-native fluency in Japanese
• Intermediate-to-high proficiency in English for effective communication with students and staff.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Japanese (preferred but not mandatory).
• Graduate or advanced undergraduate student status (preferred).
• Familiarity with language teaching or pedagogical methods (preferred).
