📚 Job Overview

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Provide at least five hours of tutoring per week in Japanese, supporting students' language proficiency and confidence.
• Attend Tutor Meetings and Training Sessions, maintaining effective communication with the Tutoring Coordinator and Assistant Director of Administration.
• Assist in departmental cultural activities and weekly conversation sessions to foster an engaging learning environment and cultural understanding.

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Advanced or near-native fluency in Japanese
• Intermediate-to-high proficiency in English for effective communication.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Japanese (preferred).
• Graduate or advanced undergraduate student status (preferred).
• Familiarity with language teaching or pedagogy (preferred).
