Job Overview

This pivotal position involves interpreting and translating complex technical, operational, and cultural information to facilitate effective communication within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Main Responsibilities

• Interpretation and Translation 🤝

  • Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during meetings with upper management, production, and administrative teams, converting complex discussions into clear, actionable insights.
  • Assist in interviews and HR processes by facilitating accurate communication between Japanese and English speakers to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Translate written materials such as documents, presentations, and technical manuals with attention to cultural nuances and industry terminology.

• Technical Language Development ⚙️

  • Acquire a strong understanding of automotive and manufacturing terminology pertinent to Aisin Texas Corporation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to effectively communicate complex technical concepts aligned with operational standards.

• Document Preparation & Presentation 📊

  • Assist in creating, translating, and finalizing presentations and reports using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ensure translated documents adhere to company standards and support effective multi-language communication.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration 🤝

  • Partner with HR, production, and management to address communication needs across projects and employee interactions.
  • Provide cultural insights to foster mutual understanding and smoother intercultural exchanges between Japanese and American team members.

Qualifications & Skills

• Language Proficiency 🗣️

  • Fluent in Japanese and English, with excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in both languages.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical and manufacturing discussions accurately and swiftly.

• Technical Skills 🛠️

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Willingness to learn industry-specific terminology related to automotive manufacturing.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication for clarity and cross-cultural understanding.
  • Good knowledge of Japanese and American business etiquette and communication styles.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
