Job Overview

The ideal candidate will facilitate precise interpretation and translation, possess technical language skills, and develop expertise in automotive manufacturing terminology to support our collaborative efforts at Aisin Texas Corporation.

Main Responsibilities

• Interpretation and Translation 🔄
  • Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during meetings with upper management, production, and administrative teams, translating complex discussions into actionable insights.
  • Ensure clear communication during interviews and HR processes, delivering a smooth candidate experience for Japanese and English speakers.
  • Translate written documents, presentations, and technical materials with cultural sensitivity and technical precision.
• Technical Language Adaptation 🛠️
  • Build a strong understanding of automotive industry-specific terms relevant to Aisin Texas Corporation.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to accurately communicate complex technical content aligning with operational goals.
• Document Preparation and Presentation 📄
  • Assist in preparing, translating, and supporting the creation of presentations and reports using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Guarantee all translated documents meet company standards and enhance communication effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration 🤝
  • Partner with HR, production, and management teams to address diverse communication needs across projects and employee interactions.
  • Provide cultural insights to foster better understanding and smoother interactions between Japanese and American team members.

Qualifications & Skills

• Language Proficiency 🈶
  • Fluent in Japanese and English — listening, speaking, reading, and writing in both languages.
  • Capable of interpreting complex technical and manufacturing discussions accurately and efficiently.
• Technical Skills ⚙️
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Interest or experience in automotive or technical terminology related to Aisin Texas Corporation.
