• Base pay range: $120,000.00/year - $140,000.00/year

📍 Location & Employment Type

• Location: Remote (prefer candidates in the Eastern Time zone)
• Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

📝 Responsibilities

• Review complex tax returns (corporate, partnership, expatriate, dual status) and communicate with tax authorities.
• Research and interpret tax regulations; guide staff on technical issues.
• Review transfer pricing reports and tax provisions; prepare advanced analyses as needed.
• Lead client meetings, respond to inquiries, and identify additional service opportunities.
• Manage multiple engagements, budgets, and deadlines while supervising Staff and Senior team members.
• Coach junior team members, deliver feedback, and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Stay updated on tax developments and leverage technology effectively.

🎓 Qualifications

• Language Skills: Japanese and English bilingual proficiency required
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Licenses: CPA or EA required
• Experience: 5+ years in public accounting tax
• Technical Skills: Experience preparing various individual and business tax returns; proficiency in tax software and MS Office
