Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our high school, you'll deliver comprehensive healthcare to students, collaborate with medical professionals, and foster a safe, healthy school atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• 🩹 Provide first aid, administer medications, and deliver medical care to students
• 🗂 Maintain student health records in accordance with New York State regulations and HIPAA standards
• 🤝 Coordinate care with our school doctor and external healthcare providers
• 🩻 Assist with physical exams, vaccinations, and health screenings
• 📞 Communicate effectively with parents, faculty, and administrative staff regarding student health matters
• 🚶‍♂️ Accompany students to medical appointments when necessary
• ⏰ Participate in on-call rotations (3–4 times/week during school sessions)
• 📝 Perform administrative duties and provide support within the health center

Requirements

• 📝 Active NYS RN License or eligible for license transfer
• ⚕️ CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification
• 🗣️ Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (required)
• 💬 Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• 🤝 Capable of collaborating with faculty, medical staff, and administration
• ⏳ Flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: From $80,000+ per year (DOE)
