Job Overview
Our client, a leading Freight Forwarding Company, is seeking a Sales and Operations Specialist to become a vital part of their team. This full-time role offers a chance to develop your skills in a vibrant environment, with potential relocation assistance.
- Location: Georgetown, KY 🚗
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm
- Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (depends on experience)
- Experience Required: Over 3 years
- Language Requirements: Fluency in Japanese (business level) and English
- Job Title: Sales and Operations
- FLSA Status: Exempt, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Expand existing account business
- Develop new business and accounts
- Develop customized proposals and pricing strategies to secure new freight opportunities
- Negotiate rates and terms with customers for profitable deals
- Collaborate with steamship companies, airlines, warehouse teams, carrier sales, dispatch, and operations to ensure seamless freight movements
- Monitor market trends, spot rates, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies
- And other related duties as needed
