About the Role

Crafted Solutions, an event operations and marketing agency based in Los Angeles, is on the lookout for talented Japanese–English interpreters to support panel sessions featuring Japanese anime and game producers and guests at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Event Details

• Location: Los Angeles Convention Center and nearby venues
• Date: July 3–4, 2026
• Schedule: Varies by assignment, including panel sessions, pre-meetings, and press support

Compensation

• Rate: $75–150 per hour, based on experience and assignment
• Includes minimum booking and preparation time

Key Responsibilities

• Interpretation: Japanese ⇄ English during panel sessions in a stage environment 🎤
• Support: Pre-panel meetings and coordination efforts
• Press & Interviews: Assistance with interpretation as needed

Qualifications

• Japanese–English bilingual proficiency: Essential ✅
• Experience in interpretation: Preferably in panels, stage, or business settings
• Live event skills: Ability to perform confidently in dynamic environments
• Communication & reliability: Professional and dependable
• Legal work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous experience at conventions such as Anime Expo, Comic-Con, etc. 🎎
• Familiarity with anime, gaming, or the entertainment industry
• Experience handling fast-paced, unscripted scenarios

Additional Notes

• Priority given to candidates available for multiple sessions
• Selected candidates may be asked to participate in a short video interview 📹
• Assignments will be offered based on experience and availability

Job Details

• Type: Temporary, Contract
• Pay: $75.00 – $150.00 per hour
