Position Details

• Title: Japanese Bilingual Office Coordinator
• Industry: Food Distribution
• Type: Full Time, Direct Hire (8am - 5pm)

• Salary: $23 - $28/hr (DOE)

Qualifications & Skills ✅

• Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese
• Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience; 3+ years preferred
• Professional attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads
• Willingness to complete Sake Adviser and Sake Sommelier courses within the first year
• Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Zoom, Teams, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and basic math skills
• Knowledge of Japanese foods and sakes is a plus

Key Job Responsibilities 📝

• Manage program registrations and monitor updates from wine and spirits organizations and schools
• Assist in organizing and conducting sake-related events, tastings, and educational sessions
• Review and update learning materials, including textbooks and presentation slides
• Set up classrooms, support instructors, and oversee exams as needed
• Handle logistics such as ordering supplies, preparing course materials, and shipping
• Maintain websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and respond promptly to inquiries
• Perform administrative duties including record-keeping, basic accounting, and reporting
• Support team and management as required
• Participate in Sake School events, company functions, and outside activities beyond regular hours
