About the Role

As the Market Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing innovative sales initiatives and strategies to boost our market presence. Your strong communication skills will be key in converting potential customers into loyal clients and expanding our reach.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & implement strategies to achieve core sales metrics 🎯
• Support sales activities in key on-premise and off-premise accounts with a focus on Italian wines and spirits
• Engage with potential customers through outreach and follow-up to introduce our new products and services
• Plan & participate in high ROI events and trade shows
• Collaborate with winery representatives for market expansion
• Maintain communication of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, and competitive issues via CRM
• Attend online and in-person meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and sales events

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills 💬
• Educational background: Bachelor's degree or high school diploma preferred
• Proficiency with CRM software
• Minimum: 5+ years of outside sales experience in the DMV region
• Language skills: Fluent in Italian
• Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Italian wine and spirits
• Required: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle 🚗
