About the Role

We are seeking a caring, patient, and experienced tutor to provide long-term, one-on-one Italian language instruction to a student learning Italian as a second language. Experience working with neurodiverse learners, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) or with other special needs, is highly valued.

This position is fully remote with flexible hours, though the tutor must be available to align with the student's schedule in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Education, Linguistics, Italian Studies, or related fields)
• TESOL, TEFL, or other relevant language teaching certifications strongly preferred
• Experience teaching or tutoring Italian, especially in virtual environments
• Experience working with students with special needs or in special education settings is highly advantageous
• Professional tutoring setup including reliable high-speed internet, webcam, microphone/headset, and access to online teaching tools
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and adaptability
• Availability during PST hours to accommodate the student’s schedule

Additional Details

• This is a long-term tutoring opportunity with consistent weekly hours
