Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized Italian lessons to students learning the language as a second language
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of neurodiverse learners, including those on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) and with other special education needs
• Create a positive and dynamic virtual learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Education, Linguistics, Italian Studies, or related fields)
• TESOL, TEFL, or relevant language teaching certification strongly preferred
• Experience teaching Italian, especially in a virtual setting
• Experience working with students with special needs is highly valued
• Reliable professional tutoring setup with high-speed internet, webcam, microphone/headset, and online teaching tools
• Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability skills
• Availability during PST (Pacific Standard Time) hours to align with the student’s schedule
