Tutor Me Education, a leading provider in primary and secondary education services, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Virtual Italian Tutor to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will create engaging, safe, and nurturing learning environments where students can thrive and develop their language skills.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced tutor to provide long-term, one-on-one Italian lessons to a student learning the language as a second language. Experience working with neurodiverse learners, especially those on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) or with other special education needs, is highly valued.

Position Details

• 🖥️ Fully remote work with flexible scheduling
• ⏰ Must be available during Pacific Standard Time (PST) to align with the student's schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Education, Linguistics, Italian Studies, or related fields)
• TESOL, TEFL, or relevant language teaching certification strongly preferred
• Experience teaching or tutoring Italian, especially in a virtual setting
• Experience working with students with special needs or in special education settings is highly valued
• Professional tutoring setup: reliable high-speed internet, webcam, microphone/headset, and online teaching tools
• Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability skills
• Availability aligned with PST hours

Additional Information

• This is a long-term tutoring opportunity with consistent weekly hours
• Starting rate of $25/hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
• Open to applicants from any location, provided PST availability matches the student’s schedule
