About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced tutor to deliver long-term, one-on-one Italian instruction to students learning Italian as a second language. The ideal candidate will have experience working with neurodiverse learners, including those on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) or with other special education needs.

This fully remote position offers flexible scheduling, aligning with the student's timetable in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Education, Linguistics, Italian Studies, or related fields).
• TESOL, TEFL, or relevant language teaching certification is highly preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring Italian, especially virtually.
• Experience working with students with special needs or in special education is highly valued.
• Professional tutoring setup, including reliable high-speed internet, webcam, microphone/headset, and online teaching tools.
• Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability skills.
• Availability during PST hours to coordinate with the student's schedule.

Additional Details

• This is a long-term tutoring position with consistent weekly hours.
• Starting rate of $25/hour, with flexibility based on experience and qualifications.
