Position Details

• Role: Bilingual Italian STEM Expert
• Type: Contract
• Compensation: $38–$43/hour
• Location: Remote
• Duration: 3–6 months
• Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities 🚀

• Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in Italian and/or English with scientifically accurate instructions.
• Define and document evaluation standards with comprehensive rubrics to ensure scientific rigor and linguistic clarity.
• Conduct model testing and grading to assess outputs for scientific accuracy and reasoning quality.
• Support benchmarking and quality assurance to maintain consistency across Italian-language benchmarks.
• Collaborate in QA review processes to ensure rubrics meet high scientific standards.

Qualifications 🎓

Must-Have ✅

• Native-level fluency in Italian, specifically from Italy or Italian-speaking Switzerland.
• Strong reading and writing proficiency in English.
• BS or BA in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Familiarity with undergraduate-level biology, physics, or chemistry topics.
• Excellent writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred 👍

• 2+ years of experience in teaching, research, or applied STEM disciplines.
• Experience working with Italian or Swiss secondary or university STEM curricula.
