Are you passionate about Italian linguistics and eager to influence AI technology? We are searching for skilled Italian language specialists with access to Android devices to support large-scale training of advanced language models. These models are transforming from chatbots into comprehensive engines for linguistic discovery and innovation.

📝 What You'll Do

• Engage in conversations with language models on various Italian language scenarios.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical reasoning of model responses.
• Document error modes and capture reproducible error traces.
• Suggest improvements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Challenge models on topics such as dialectal variation, formal vs. colloquial language, orthography, translation, semantic ambiguity, and cultural nuances.

🎓 Ideal Candidate Profile

• A master’s or PhD in Italian language, linguistics, or related fields.
• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, translation, or linguistic analysis projects.
• Excellent metacognitive communication skills—"showing your work" is key.
• Strong knowledge of Italian grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.

💼 Requirements & Compensation

As a contractor, you will need to provide:
