Role Overview

This is a remote, hourly-paid contractor position dedicated to evaluating AI outputs, assessing step-by-step reasoning, and providing structured expert feedback. Your work will ensure AI-generated content is accurate, logical, and aligns with safety policies across both Italian and English languages. Please note, this role may involve exposure to sensitive or disturbing content, including sexual, violent, or psychologically explicit material, as part of safety evaluation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, and safety compliance
• Identify errors—logical, methodological, or conceptual—in model outputs
• Compare and rate multiple AI responses based on correctness, safety alignment, and policy adherence
• Perform fact-checking and validation where required
• Conduct red-teaming and adversarial testing to uncover vulnerabilities, edge cases, and unsafe behaviors
• Document findings with clear, structured reasoning and reproducible decision paths
• Apply safety policies consistently across Italian and English content, identifying slang, coded language, and cultural nuances
• Escalate ambiguous cases using defined policy frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Communications, Psychology, Law, Policy, Security Studies, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
• Native or near-native Italian proficiency (reading and writing)
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading and writing)
• Experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, policy enforcement, risk operations, compliance, or investigations
• Proven LLM red-teaming or adversarial testing experience (required)
• Strong ability to analyze and localize content while preserving meaning, intent, and severity
• Excellent analytical writing and structured reasoning skills
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in safety guideline application
• Ability to work independently in a remote contractor environment
• Secure handling of sensitive content and strong professional discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI data annotation, model evaluation, or localization/translation
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar systems
• Background in structured safety frameworks or policy taxonomy systems
• Experience in investigative, editorial, or analytical roles
