Key Responsibilities
- 🔍 Proactively identify client needs through effective communication and probing skills, guiding them to suitable products and services
- 📈 Meet or exceed specified performance metrics in all client interactions (verbal and written)
- 🎯 Uphold a professional image of RBC and RBC Direct Investing Inc. at all times
- 🌐 Promote the RBC Direct Investing website and mobile platform, encouraging clients to utilize self-service options
- 🤝 Deliver helpful, accurate, and professional services, including prompt trade instruction processing via phone or electronic means, compliant with regulatory guidelines
- 📜 Understand and adhere to industry rules, regulations (e.g., CIRO, Provincial), and RBC policies in all activities
- ✅ Execute client instructions accurately within authorized limits and ensure clients meet trade settlement obligations
What You Need to Succeed
Must-Have Qualifications
- 🕒 Proven ability to work independently, managing time effectively and multitasking efficiently
- 🎓 University or college degree/diploma or at least 1 year of relevant client service experience
- 🗣️ Strong English communication skills (verbal, written, transcription), with excellent organizational and attention to detail
- 😊 Exceptional customer service skills and professional telephone manner
- 🈵 Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese
- 📝 Completion of the following exams within specified timeframes:
- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (within 15 weeks of start date), or
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 or higher, with mandatory CIRO Conduct Training within 15 days of licensing approval
- Derivatives Exam (within 35 weeks of start date)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- ✅ Prior experience with Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or CFA Level 1 and Derivatives Exam
- 🗣️ Fluency in French
