Location & Hours: Candidates must live within a one-hour commute to the designated Centre or Hub. Business hours are Sunday 6:00 PM EST through Friday 8:00 PM EST (overnights possible) and Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. Flexibility to work various shifts within these hours is required.
What Will You Do? 🚀
- Proactively identify customer needs through effective communication to guide clients to our products and services.
- Meet all specified performance metrics for client interactions (oral and written).
- Maintain a professional image of RBC and RBC Direct Investing Inc. at all times.
- Promote the RBC Direct Investing website and mobile capabilities, encouraging self-service solutions.
- Provide responsive, accurate, and knowledgeable services, including prompt trade instructions via telephone or electronic channels, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Understand and apply industry regulations (e.g., CIRO, provincial rules) along with RBC policies and procedures.
- Accurately execute client instructions within defined authorities, ensuring trade settlement obligations are met.
What Do You Need to Succeed? 🎯
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- University or College degree/diploma or a minimum of 1 year relevant client service experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal, written, transcription) with attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills with friendly, professional phone manners.
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
- Completion of required exams within specified timelines:
- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (within 15 weeks of start date)
- OR Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 or higher
- CIRO Mandatory Conduct Training (within 15 days of licensing approval)
- Derivatives Exam (within 35 weeks of start date)
Nice-to-Have Skills & Additional Qualifications:
- Prior standing and maintenance of Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or CFA Level 1 certifications.
- Fluency in French.
