Job Description

Are you fluent in both English and another language? Do you have experience working as an interpreter? LTC is an interpreting agency seeking contract interpreters in and around Tennessee.

What You Will Do

• Provide virtual & on-site, in-person interpretation.
• Act as a liaison using the client’s preferred language.
• Accurately interpret according to the setting and audience.
• Ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal laws and regulations regarding privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA.

Requirements

• Interpreting certifications preferred ✅
• Minimum of 2 years of medical interpreting experience preferred 🏥
• Minimum of 1-2 years of interpreting experience required
• Ability to keep accurate records

Additional Information

As an Independent Contractor Interpreter, you will not be an employee of LTC. Instead, you will operate as an independent contractor, providing language interpretation services on an IRS Form 1099 basis. 📄

Candidate must live within commuting distance of Nashville, TN. 🚗
