Key Skills & Qualifications 🎯

• Communication: Ability to professionally, concisely, and accurately communicate cross-culturally in both spoken and written formats in English and Haitian Creole.
• Fluency: Native-level proficiency in both languages.
• Technological Proficiency: Skilled in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other remote communication tools.
• Time Management: Capable of maintaining schedules and completing tasks promptly.
• Adherence to Policies: Follow guidelines outlined by the agency.
• Experience: Preferably with three years of professional language service experience.

What You'll Do 📝

• Attend in-person or remote meetings involving parents, students, and school staff to interpret spoken language accurately in both English and Haitian Creole.
• Convey the tone and nuances of the original speaker's message.
• Navigate cultural idioms, slang, and concepts that may not translate directly.
• Support written and oral communication efforts as needed.

• Interpret and translate conversations and documents with accuracy and maintain the original tone and intent.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, including parents, students, and educators.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet deadlines.
• Participate in virtual, phone, and in-person meetings, ensuring timely communication and attendance.
