Position Overview

In this role, you'll provide essential language support during peak hours, special projects, or to cover absences. The work is on-site and remote within school districts across Long Island, offering a unique chance to utilize your language skills and adapt your work hours to your availability. You will assist students, teachers, and parents, traveling to school sites as needed.

Responsibilities 🎯

• Accurately interpret and translate: Convey conversations and written documents faithfully, preserving tone and intent.
• Build relationships: Maintain strong connections with clients, including parents, students, and school staff.
• Manage your schedule: Handle assignments efficiently and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Communicate effectively: Engage with clients virtually, over the phone, and in person; attend meetings punctually.
• Professional growth: Continuously expand your educational vocabulary and participate in development opportunities.

Qualifications 📝

• Fluency in English and Arabic, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience in interpreting and translating between English and Arabic.
• Ability to travel to school sites in Suffolk County and Nassau County, NY.
• Reliable remote setup with strong Wi-Fi and necessary equipment.
• Availability to accept assignments Monday through Friday.
