Responsibilities

• 🔹 Accurately interpret and translate: Convey conversations and documents with the original tone and intent.
• 🔹 Build relationships: Establish and maintain connections with students, parents, and school staff.
• 🔹 Time management: Effectively handle assignments, schedules, and meet deadlines.
• 🔹 Client engagement: Communicate virtually, over the phone, and in person; attend meetings punctually.
• 🔹 Professional growth: Develop educational vocabulary and participate in training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 📝 Fluency in both English and French (speaking, writing, reading).
• 💼 Proven experience in interpreting and translation within English and French.
• 🚗 Ability to travel to school sites across Suffolk County and Nassau County, NY.
• 💻 Ability to work remotely with reliable Wi-Fi and necessary equipment.
• 🗓️ Availability to accept assignments Monday through Friday.
