As a remote Cantonese and English interpreter, your key role is to bridge communication gaps in various settings, ensuring clarity and accuracy. You'll need to process information swiftly and professionally, maintaining a quiet and secure working environment. Be equipped with note pads, glossaries, and dictionaries to assist in delivering top-quality interpretation.

Candidate Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Cantonese
• Minimum 1 year interpretation experience (preferred)
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings following interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Cultural competence to explain concepts and prevent miscommunication when needed

Technical Requirements

• 90% proficiency in English
• Reliable wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or Mac operating system
