Position Details

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
• Location: Remote (must reside in the US)
• Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist partners and managers on international clients with tax compliance and consulting 📂
• Prepare and review tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S, and C-corporations with international considerations 🧾
• Prepare client monthly accounting and financial statements 📊
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports in collaboration with forensic accounting, bankruptcy, and litigation support teams ⚖️

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 🎓
• 2+ years of full-time experience in tax compliance within public accounting, with exposure to international tax forms including, but not limited to:
  • Form 5471
  • Form 5472
  • Form 8865
  • Form 8858
  • Form 8621
  • Form 1116
• CPA license or on track to obtain one ✅
• Expatriate/inpatriate tax experience 🌍
• International tax consulting and planning experience
• Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills 🧠✉️
• Strong work ethic with the ability to handle complex issues, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment 💪
• Fluent in Japanese and English 🔄
