Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated International Freight Forwarder to manage and coordinate global shipments efficiently and compliantly.

What You'll Do

• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy
• Check and monitor shipment statuses
• Coordinate shipments with clients and vendors
• Assist the Operations Team to ensure seamless logistics processes
• Organize cost-effective transportation via sea, air, road, or rail
• Handle customs documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
• Arrange cargo insurance coverage
• Manage essential paperwork such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms
• Offer temporary storage solutions as needed
• Combine smaller shipments to reduce transportation costs
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Office work experience with basic PC skills
• Bilingual in English and Japanese (verbal and writing preferred)
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, carriers, and customs authorities
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in documentation and shipment management
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Effectively handle delays or customs issues
• Organizational Skills: Manage multiple shipments and deadlines efficiently
