Position: International Creative Writer (Turkish)

Develop engaging, culturally relevant dialogues for the most advanced Virtual Assistant, ensuring it resonates authentically within the Turkish language and culture. This is a remote, freelance role requiring approximately 24 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities 📝

• Write and edit dialogs for the Virtual Assistant based on cultural events, holidays, and other data.
• Create dialogs on sensitive topics, aligned with global briefs.
• Help develop the Virtual Assistant’s personality as a distinct and recognizable character in Turkish, maintaining consistency with global guidelines.
• Refresh and improve existing Virtual Assistant dialogs.
• Act as a locale language expert, providing input for feature and voice development.
• Translate and adapt dialogs from English into Turkish.
• Quality assurance of responses to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
• Develop editorial guidelines, including numerous examples and evaluation standards for dialog quality.
• Embed dialogues into XML files using proprietary tooling.

Requirements ✅

• Native Turkish speaker with high fluency in English (English back translations needed).
• Self-starter capable of autonomous work with critical reading and thinking skills.
• Interest in current events, pop culture, and local traditions.
• Resilience and openness to constructive feedback.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
• Excellent writing, copy-editing, and summarization skills.
• Ability to adapt to various writing styles and tones.
• Extensive exposure to Turkish culture and language over a sustained period.
• Experience in creating character-driven, conversational content.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior writing experience.

Benefits 🎁

This role is freelance-based, offering flexibility with approximately 24 hours weekly. Compensation will be calculated on an hourly basis.
